    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Made this today, with two square pans instead of one large one. I used extra macadamias to ensure each tin had plenty.

I reduced the sugar to 90g (halved) and I used homemade sweetened condensed milk.

Very delicious 🤤 will make again for sure

Reduced sugar to 120gm...next time I'll reduce to 100gm as there's plenty of other sugar in the recipe. So much quicker and easier than the normal thermie caramel slice that I make. I did have to keep cooking the Caramel mixture for another 15 mins at least but it still didn't turn brown for some reason. Tasted amazing. Thank you for the recipe!

Very nice! I halved the whole recipe but still cooked as recipe stated. Worked well and made plenty. Now to restrain myself...
i made the condensed milk for it too and that worked also.

Recently made this to take to friends. I halved the recipe and it still made a lot. Hard to stop at one piece. I did have to cook it for the extended time
