Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate - Coconut Slice
  1. 1.  Before doing anything else, mill the sugar for the icing at speed 10 for 10 seconds. Set aside. (Saves time later.)

    2.  Melt butter  at 100C speed soft for 3 minutes.

    3. Stir through brown sugar at speed 4 for 10 seconds.

    4. Add egg. Mix at speed 5 for 5 seconds until egg is combined with mixture.

    5. Stir through cocoa, flour and coconut at speed 5 for 5 seconds or until combined.

    6. Spread into slice tin and bake in oven at 180C for 20 minutes.

    7. While slice is cooking, combine all the icing ingredients. Spread onto still warm slice, sprinkle with coconut or whatever else takes your fancy, and enjoy!

This is delicious. A little hard to spread out in the tin so I used wet hands which helped a lot. Topped with sprinkles it’s delicious

Great chocolate slice ! I added walnuts and white choc chips to the recipe and I love it! Will be making this one regularlytmrc_emoticons.) It was a bit sticky when pressing into the tin but I just kept the spatula wet and it made the job much easier. Thanks for the great recipe.

Delicious slice. It was hard to pour into tin and spread and I was worried how it would turn out and ended up putting in a loaf tin. It certainly rose and should have left in slice tin. Didn't quite cook through cause it thick and turned out more like a brownie but was still delicious! May undercook in future!
