Recipe's preparation

    Preheat oven to 180
  1. 1. Add butter and sugar and cream sp5/ 10 sec. Scrape sides and repeat.

    2. Add remaining ingredients and mix sp 5/ 10 sec. 

    3. Roll into teaspoon size balls and press with your hand. Bake for 10 minutes until golden

    These biscuits were so easy and quick to make. Perfect when my almost 3yo grandson wanted to help. I didn’t have desiccated coconut only shredded, so after creaming butter and sugar I added the coconut and turned it up to speed 10, then added the rest of the ingredient. 2 minutes to make, 10 minutes to bake. Grandson was very happy Smile

    TASTY!!!
    I needed a quick and easy biscuit treat for lunch boxes - and this was the first recipe to catch my eye... so quick, easy and tasty! mmmmm (I made them exactly as per the recipe!)

    amulligan: I believe the cooking in the beginning is meant to help dissolve the flakes. That was the tip I got from Jo Whitton from Quirky Cooking when I discussed it with her. I use the powder to avoid that issue. If you can grind them in to powder first, that might help too.

    These are super quick and easy! I used soft brown sugar as that is all I had. I did find them a little sweet so will use slightly less sugar next time. Thanks for sharing!
