TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

So good! Didn't have any cream so used Greek Style yoghurt.
I was skeptical when I took the dough out of the TM a it was quite stiff and heavy however however I only pushed dough together and they came out fantastic. ( I only kneeded a few times not for 1 min)
I added two tsps of instant coffee disolved into the water, however would recommend 4tsp for sound coffee flavour and will add 2tsps of brown sugar next time for a slihtly sweeter taste.
I will definetly make these again. Thanks TM
Thankyou, great recipe and so easy.
Made this yesterday, did not have any cream but used yoghurt instead. Very tasty, definately a keeper for quick afternoon tea!!
This is a fantastic recipe and oh so easy. Never fails.
Delish!
I think I have made scones twice before in my lifetime and both times they were the equivalent of garden rocks. When I saw the great reviews for these thermi made ones I thought I would give them a try. Well, they are just so tasty! Lovely eaten warm or cold. I also used thickened cream in lieu of uht. Will be adding these to my go to recipes. This recipe made 15 nice size scones.
