While this was very sweet and easy, It did not set at all was in the fridge for 24 hours.
This was easy to make, but we couldn't get it to set.
It was a really humid day when we made it though.
We even put it in the freezer, but as soon as you let it defrost a little it became runny.
We ended up discarding the base and using the topping like ice cream.
Was really yummy, even if it wasn't what we originally planned it to be
What size condensed milk did you use?
Easy, and quick. Simply brilliant.
It worked for me and was delish! I used gingernut biscuits, not sure if that's the same as what was meant but worked really well. I did put in the lemon rind to give it more zing and added it on top too for decoration. Too easy
It is definitely a quick throw together but unfortunately it has been in the fridge for 18 hours and still not set even though I added a teaspoon of gelatin as I needed it in 4 hours. I will try it again with more gelatin as it is so easy to whip up with kids at your legs.
