- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C, Line a baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
- Place raw sugar into mixing bowl and mill 2 second/speed 10.
- Add flour, butter, egg and baking powder. Mix 20 seconds/speed 6. Pour hundreds and thousands into a shallow saucer or dish.
- Roll mixture into balls (approx 3 cms) and press into hundreds and thousands, then place on baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes or until lighly golden. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving. Store in an airtight container.
Tip
I used the Butter Biscuits recipe from The Basic Cookbook and pressed them into hundreds and thousands for this quick and easy biscuit idea.
You can use caster sugar in place of raw sugar and omit step 2.
