Ingredients

For the Shortcrust pastry

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 200 g Flour, Plain

For the Lemon Custard

  • 1 lemon, Zest
  • 250 g Milk
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 25 g Flour, Plain

Recipe's preparation

  1. Short Crust Pastry1. Put all the ingredients in the bowl. 3 Min. Speed Dough mode"Dough mode"

    2. Shape into a ball, wrap with a cloth and keep refrigerated for 30 Min.3. In the meantime, wash the bowl and prepare the lemon custard.4. Add the lemon zest. 10 Sec. Speed Turbo.5. Add sugar. 10 Sec. Speed Turbo.6. Add the other ingredients. 7 Min. 90°C Speed 4.Let it get cold.7. Roll the pastry out on a baking paper lined pan.

    28 cm diameter is ideal, though you can make mini tarts too. 

    Make the edges so that when you take it out of the oven custard does not spill over.

    8. Bake it at 180°C for 20 Min. It must brown or be golden. 9. Let the pastry get cold and then pour the cold custard in it and dress with your favourite fruits. 

    In the photo I have used mardarine & strawberries. 

    Keep refrigerated before serving it.
