There is only one problem with these Medenjaci and that is ..... You just can't stop eating them! They are so delicious. I only made half a batch and took Dohatch's advice and put them in the fridge for a while before making the balls. Also I put chopped walnuts on top as some walnuts were already broken. Well done Vee and thank you.
I made these for the third time but this time I added 70 g milled walnuts to the mixture. So delicious.
Absolutely scrumptious. Easy to make and hard to stop them disappearing!
The dough is a bit sticky, so I did cool it in the fridge for a few minutes before trying to scrape it out of the bowl. Works just as well with a half-batch and still makes about 30 biscuits. I used 1/3 of a date on each biscuit instead of the nuts on top and that worked very well.
Very easy! I found I needed about 500 gms of flour because my honey was on the runny side. Otherwise great...now all I need is to hide them from the kids, becasue there will be none left for Christmas!
