I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Mini Choc Chip Banana Bread
  1. Preheat oven, 180 degrees celcius.

Add butter to jug, melt 100oc, speed 3, 1min.

Add sugar into jug.  Speed 4 for 20 seconds.  Scrape down sides of jug.

Add flour, mashed overripe banana, vanilla & eggs.  Speed 4 for 10 seconds.

Pour into a loaf tin that's been slightly greased or lined with baking paper.  Sprinkle top with choc chips.

Put into oven for approx 20 mins or until cooked through (test with skewer, when clean its cooked)

Tip

I make lots of variations of this, sometimes i add blueberries or raspberries instead of choc chips for a healthier version.

If you want to make in a large loaf, bake for 60mins or until test skewer comes out clean.

Nice to add in nuts or coconut also.

This is a family favourite and always enjoyed by others if take out.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
