Recipe's preparation

    Nikki's Bikkies
  1. Add seeds, oats, dried apricots, SR flour to bowl, mix sp 1 for 10 seconds.

While continuing to mix on sp 1, add in honey and golden syrup through hole in lid.

Then slowly add milk through hole in lid while continuing to mix on so 1.

Dough should be a sticky consistency, add either more milk or oats/flour until desired consistency is reached.

Place dessert spoon sized amounts on a lined baking tray.

Bake in 200 degree oven for approx 12-15 min until golden brown.

    Bikkies will harden while cooling.

Tip

Use commonsense when checking the consistency of the mixture. It will be sticky.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Just made these biscuits.  Quite nice although a bit bland so we may make then again with some extra flavouring or spices. We chopped the dried apricots first as we didn't think speed 1 would do anything to whole apricots. Thanks for the recipe.
