Made these today and subbed in Gluten Free plain flour, same quantity. They came out perfectly and are delicious. Will definitely be adding these to the favourites.

Hi all, I added a egg after beating sugar and butter and then heated for a further 10secs on speed 4... Made them lighter and fluffier. But definitely a hit! Thx tmrc_emoticons.)

Thanks so much! My mother-in-law used to make these for my hubby and his siblings when they were kids too. My kids love them as well

Just like Mum used to make!

My mum used to make this exact recipe for us as little ones (of course pre-thermomix!)  tmrc_emoticons.;) and i have just made a batch of these, they are delicious!!

The rind was still a bit chunky so ground it a bit more.

Can't wait for my kids to get home from school to start creating the same memories I have of these growing up. Thanks for the awesome conversion.  Love
