Easy, quick slice. Not outstanding but tasty. As others did, 100g dates and 80g sugar which was plenty.
No egg? Just checking as I want to make this.
I followed others suggestions and increased the dates to 100g, and reduced sugar to 90g. Very nice texture and super tasty.
Has anyone frozen these squares before? I am getting ready with holiday baking and would like to have a few things in the freezer in case I run out of the usual fare. Please and thank you.
The texture is perfect and the taste is nice. Just keen for a stronger flavour.
I upped the dates to 100g, downed the maple syrup to 30g and the brown sugar to 100g. Was amazing, and definitely didn't need the extra sugar.
I also swapped the peanut oil for extra virgin olive oil.
These blondies are chewy, moist and SO GOOD. We polished off a batch in one day flat! Will definitelt be making again.
Very nice, simple to prepare however super sweet- I might reduce sugar next time 👍🏻
So yum!! And easy!! I used spelt flour instead of plain to increase the nutrient content
A quick and easy recipe for a delicious cake. I made it for an afternoon tea and my family loved it! I used less sugar, more dates and it turned out great. Thank you.
Hi Catherine, We recommend replacing peanut oil with EVOO
