Ingredients

Crumble topping

  • 30 g Butter Cubed
  • 70 g flour
  • 60 g raw sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg ground

cake

  • 120 g cold mashed potato
  • 10 g Butter
  • 160 g sugar
  • 180 g Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 340 g SR flour
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon nutmeg ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 g choc chips or sultanas

Recipe's preparation

    Crumble topping
  1. Place all topping ingredients in bowl

    Closed lid"Closed lid" turbo 1-2 times till crumble texture is acheived.

    Set aside.

  2. Cake
  3. Place potato and butter in bowl, heat for 2min 50c on speed 2

    Add sugar, milk and egg. make sure MC is in hole. 10sec, speed 4

    Add SR Flour, nutmeg and vanilla 10 sec, speed 4

    Add choc chips or fruit 10 sec, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3

    Put into lined and greased springform tin and then sprinkle the topping evenly over the cake.

    Bake in preheated 190c oven for 40-50min

    This is the first time I have seen a cake similar to this. I have a similar one on the community too. My mum used to make it for us when we were growing up. She uses currants. Its our favourite cake, I have to try your recipe to see how they compare tmrc_emoticons.)
