Ingredients

  • 125 g dark chocolate 70%
  • 200 g Butter
  • 400 g raw suagr
  • 4 eggs
  • 220 g plain four
  • 30 g Red food colouring
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 180 g Butter
  • 230 g icing sugar

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Grease and line a 20cm rectangle brownie/slice tin

  2. Blitz chocolate 5 seconds/speed 8

  3. add butter to jug and melt chocolate and butter 3 minutes/60 degrees/speed 3

  4. add sugar to jug and mix 30 seconds/speed 3

  5. set timer for 30 seconds/speed 3 and add extras 1 at a time through whole in lid while motor is running 

  6. add flour, food colouring, baking powder and vanilla and mix 20 seconds/speed 4

  7. pour into brownie tin and bake for 45 minutes. When cooked, remove to cooling rack to cool completely

  8. while brownie is cooling, mix cream cheese, butter and icing sugar 30 seconds speed 6. 

  9. Once brownie is cooled, spread with icing and serve
