For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

I just made this with Self Raising Flour and it worked perfectly. Light and fluffy.

Flavour was great, but even with 2 cups of water, not enough sauce

    So easy.
    So rich.
    So cheap.

I added 200g water for the sauce as was suggested in comments.

    Thanks for the recipe.

    Just amazing!

This was so incredibly easy to make.  The first time I made it, I doubled the quantities, as I had lots of guests and it worked out wonderfully.  I found the quantitites to be just right, and would highly recommend this to everyone!

I used a commercial gluten free self raising flour instead of the plain flour and baking powder, and it worked well.  The sauce was a little thick, so next time I'm going to add more water.  Definitely a new favourite for my children as they have asked me to make it again.  Thanks Kirrilly.
