Ingredients
Sorbet
- 100 g sugar
- 1 lemon, flesh only
- 250 g strawberries, no need to hull - put them in whole!
- 100 g blueberries
- 1000 g ice cubes
Cocktail bits
- 1 bottle ginger beer
- 200 g Cointreau/triple sec

Mill sugar 10 sec/speed 10
Add lemon and fruit and blend 10 sec/speed 5
Add ice and blend 1 min/speed 9 - use spatula to move sorbet around if ice develops air pockets
Add Cointreau/triple sec
Blend 30 sec/speed 9
Fill tall glasses about 3/4 with sorbet. Top up with ginger beer and stir.
Find a sunny spot with some friends and enjoy!

Now to make the cocktail!
Tip
Add a sprig of mint or some fresh sliced berries on the rim of the glass.
This tasty drink is a great way to use up leftover sorbet after demonstrations!

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
