  • 1 level tablespoon raw honey or real maple syrup or rice malt syrup
  • 1 bananna, Large

Recipe's preparation

    Green Smoothie
  1. Place all ingrediants into bowl and blend on speed 10 for 1 minute until all ingrediants are combined and smooth.

Kale/Spinach - Iron

 

Chia seeds are packed with:

  • Essential Fatty Acids – Omega 3 & 6
  • Fibre – both soluble &  insoluble fibre
  • Antioxidants
  • Protein & Amino Acids – it contains all 8 essential amino acids & more.
  • Essential Minerals; calcium, zinc, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, copper, potassium
  • Vitamins A, B & E

Strawberries contain vitamin C (assists with absorption of iron)

    Was sceptical as haven't had homemade smoothies much in the past. But this was delicious!! Didn't have chia seeds but have since bought them so will add next time.

    You are requested kindly to share all of the information related to the Green Smoothie such as its ingredients and making procedure. I have read a lot of info on Edu Birdie site and now I am well aware of the advantages of drinking smoothie but I do not know how to to make it.

    I have had bariatric surgery so I added 1 heaped tsp of protein powder and 1 tsp of vital greens. This makes 2 serves for me. Delicious, thank you.

    Yum! Added handful of almonds, frozen banana, 2 dates and no honey and only had frozen raspberries. Kids and I loved it.
