Recipe's preparation

Super delicious and soft Flour Tortills using Coconut that your kids will love
  1. 5 Min to make dough
    30 Min - 2 hrs resting
    30 Min Max to fry

    400g Plain Flour
    1 Tsp Baking Powder
    1 1/2 Tsp Ground Salt
    Speed 4 for 5 seconds

120g Refined Coconut Oil in solid state.
Speed 4 for 10 seconds or until it resembles bread crumbs.

Add 200g of hot tap water.
Speed 5 for 20 seconds or until mixture comes together as a very soft ball. It should not be sticky.

Set asside under a damp tea-towel for a min of 30 minutes. Aim for 1-2 hours.

Avoid overworking the dough. Divide into 16 equal portions and place under the tea towel.

Place non stick pan on High to Medium heat. Do not use oil.

Roll first portion into a ball and then roll it with a rolling pin into a super thin circle. Use minimal if any flour for this.

Place on pan until lots of bubbles form and then flip.
Press down on tortilla for a few seconds to ensure the whole 2nd side gets contact with the pan. When 2nd side has browning to most of it it's ready!

Place on serving plate under a clean t-towel and repeat until all Tortillas are cooked.

Top with your favourite soft taco or tortilla ingredients. They are yummy on their own too. Enjoy!

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I forgot to mention I would use refined coconut oil unless you want a coconut flavoured tortilla. tmrc_emoticons.-)
