Ingredients
- 150 g short cut bacon, sliced
- 220 g leek, in pieces
- 80 g brown onion, halved
- 1 clove garlic, whole
- 500 g silverbeet, shredded
- 1 litre water
- 2 - 3 tbsp vegie stock paste
- 30 g Coconut oil or EVOO
- 50 g Pouring Cream
- ground black pepper to taste

Place bacon, leek, onion & garlic in "Closed lid" 5 secs, speed 6
Add coconut oil or EVOO. Saute for 3 mins, Varoma temp, speed 1
Place shredded Silverbeet into "Closed lid" 10 secs speed 7, using spatula through lid to push silverbeet down. Repeat for 5 secs if needed.
Add water & vegie stock paste.
Cook for 20 minutes, 100 deg, sp 1
Add cream, set timer for 1 min, turn to speed 5 then gradually turn to speed 9.
Add pepper and/or cinnamon to taste.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
