Ingredients

base

  • 250 grams plain biscuits of choice
  • 120 grams soft butter

caramel filling

  • 2 tins condensed milk, Aldi brand
  • 120 grams Butter
  • 90 grams brown sugar
  • 80 grams golden syrup

topping

  • 500 grams thickened cream
  • 60 grams icing sugar, or to taste
  • 2 bananas sliced

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. Melt butter 50degrees for 3mins on speed 2.

    Add biscuits and blend for 10 seconds on speed 8.

    Place in a spring form tin 20cm ( line bottom with backing paper)

    Place in fridge to set for a a while till it feels firm.
  2. Filling
  3. Place all ingredients for filling in bowl.

    Make sure your MC is on, blend for 30 secs on speed 4

    Then cook for 15mins on 85 degrees on speed 3.5

    Check that it is thick to spoon if so its ready if not cook for a further 5 mins

    Poor into base. ( here i added a layer of nuteela to base before placing caramel filling in but this is not required)
  4. Topping
  5. Place cut banana on the top of caramel

    Whip cream with butterfly attachemnet for 30secs speed 4, at 20 secs slowly add your icing sugar as it is beating check ad see if you woudl like you cream more stiff if so beat for a littel longer till at your prefered consisitency

    Place cream on top of the banana, then decorate with either more banana or chocolate flakes

    place back in fridge till serving time.

    Love it! Didn't feel the need to add sugar to the cream, and grated dark chocolate on the top just because that's what I had. It was a real hit! Thank you for sharing.

    Really easy and yummy. Well liked in our family. Except I think I cooked the caramel part too long as it was quite hard to eat once set in the fridge.
