Ingredients
Dairy free choc coating
- 220 grams coconut oil
- 35 grams Raw Cocoa Power
- 2 heaped tablespoons Maple Syryp, More if prefer sweeter
Filling
- 220 grams coconut milk
- 70 grams coconut oil
- 1 heaped tablespoon Maple Syryp
- 150 grams coconut dessicated

Add coconut oil, coconut milk and maple syrup to bowl and melt 60 deg, speed 2 for 2 mins or until melted.
Add dessicated coconut mix speed 2 for 25 secs once combined press into slice tray linned with baking paper and put into freezer to set.
once set pull out of tray and cut into bars ( size of choice)
put bars back into the freezer while you prepare coating.
Add all ingredients to clean bowl and melt 60 deg, speed 2, 2 mins ( or until melted)
Allow to cool slighly get bars out of freezer and do first coat put back in freezer till set and coat again till your happy with the choc covering.
Left over coating can be used on ice cream or sorbet as ice magic topping will set hard when hits cold surface.
This can also be made with chocolate if dairy free is not a requirement.

I have made these bars a couple of times now and they are really yummy.
tried this for my son who is anaphylaxis to dairy. He didn't like them much but I loved them. I like that they aren't too sweet. Very easy to make also. Thanks

Do you keep them in the freezer until ready to eat or the fridge?
OMG these are sooooo good. Only thing is to make the filling a little sweeter. Might try it with a few dates next time.
