  • 170 g self-raising flour
  • 110 g flour, all-purpose
  • 100 g milk chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons Marmalade

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Mix sugar (brown and white) and eggs for 40 seconds on speed 5
    2. Add flour (self raising and plain) and mix for 20 seconds on reverse Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" at speed 3
    3. Using the function dough Dough mode"Dough mode" , knead the ingredients for 30 seconds
    4. Add the chocolate chips and knead Dough mode"Dough mode" for 20 seconds
    5. Add the jam (I used raspberry) and knead Dough mode"Dough mode" for 20 seconds

    You will now have a quite sticky dough, with the marmalade not uniformly distributed.

    Using a spatula, take out the dough and spread in 2 logs on baking paper.
    Cook the dough in a ventilated oven for 30 minutes at 180°C (or till golden).
    You can test if the biscotti are ready using a toothpick. If you insert it in the logs and it is clean when removing it, the biscotti are ready to be removed from the oven.

    Once removed from the oven, before they are cooled down completely cut the logs into approx 5mm biscotti.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
