Ingredients

Base

  • 1 Packet Marie Biscuits, 250g, crumbed
  • 250 g Licorice Allsorts, Cut into quarters
  • 125 g Butter, Melted
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 200 g Condensed milk.

Top

  • 200 g chocolate, Milk or Dark is better
  • 30 g Copha or coconut oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. Cut allsorts into 1/4's.  Easier to stir through mixture later and they go further in the slice

  2. Blitz the packet of marie biscuits for 5 - 10 second son speed 6. Or longer depending on the texture you want.

    Place aside in another bowl.

  3. Melt the butter at 60 degrees for 1 minute on speed 2.

     

    Add biscuit, condensed milk,licorice and golden syrup into Closed lid"Closed lid" .

  4. Dough mode"Dough mode"  Knead the ingredients for 20seconds, or until it looks like the picture.

  5. Smooth out in a pan.

    chill for at least 30 minutes.

    Melt butter and copha/coconut oil together and then mix well

    Spread the chocolate mixture over the slice chill again then cut before the chocolate hardens all the way.

Tip

You can use either milk chocolate or dark chocolate as the topping.

You can also use other biscuits such as milk arrowroot,  milk coffee etc
