    Method
  1. 1. Roughly chop all the nuts for 3 - 5 seconds on speed 7 - 8. Set aside

    2. Roughly chop dried fruit for 5 - 6 seconds on speed 8. Or longer if you don't want chunks in your slice.

    3. Add all the other ingredients including the nuts and mix on Reverse, Speed 4 till combined.

    4. Press into slice tin lined with baking paper and bake for 45 minutes at 170 Deg C.

5 Allow to cool before slicing.

  2. I have made this by leaving out the jam to reduce sugar content and added an egg to help bind the dry ingredients together.

Cranberry and Goji berries give it a nice contrast in colour instead of the sultanas.

Any combination of seeds - pepitas (pumpkin seeds) sesame or sunflower, can be used in combination with nuts.

Dates would help sweeten it instead of the jam.
