Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat fan-forced oven to 170 degrees
  2. Grease large cookie sheet or baking tray with the extra coconut oil
  3. Place coconut oil, maple syrup in bowl and heat 2mins/60deg/speed 1
  4. Add remaining ingredients and combine 15sec/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 4, or until well combined
  5. Scoop a tablespoon size of the biscuit mixture and gently press and round the biscuit with wet hands. Place gently onto the greased pan. Allow space between each biscuit as they will spread while cooking.
  6. Bake for 13 minutes, checking and turning the tray halfway, if needed. You want the biscuits to be evenly gold brown all over.
  7. Allow to cool on tray for 5mins, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge. Store for up to 7 days.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
