I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Mill Raw Sugar, SP9 20 Seconds.
2. Add Butter, mix with MC on SP3 40 Seconds, scrape down sides, SP5 40 Seconds, scrape down sides, SP5 2 Minutes.
3. Add eggs, one at a time through lid, while on SP3 over 1 Minute. Add Vanilla, SP3 30 Seconds.
4. Measure out Milk and Flour and set aside. Then, alternate adding Milk and Flour into Bowl while on SP4-4.5 over about 2 Minutes. Mix in SP3-4 until all mixed in. Depending on size of eggs you may need to add more flour. As a rough guide and only as you need it, I added roughly 150g additional flour. Test this by stopping the Thermomix: Mixture is ready until you get a nice consistancy and it does not stick to your hands/fingers.
5. Turn out to a floured silicone mat and knead into a round ball, cover with a tea towel and take enough to roll out like you are rolling to make gnocchi. Then, cut into "S" shape and put onto trays. You can make them into any shape you wish.
6. Bake 160 degrees Celcius fan forced till golden, in my oven each tray took 10 Minutes each tray. Allow to cool then ice.
1. Mill Icing sugar in dry bowl, SP9 20 Seconds.
2. Add Cocoa, mix SP9 1 Minute, then add Milk and Vanilla until mixed in an mixture is smooth.
3. Dip each biscuit into icing then place on baking paper on a tray to dry/set. Store in airtight container in the freezer or fridge when you want to eat them. Super with a cup of coffee or tea!!!

Tip
I began making this recipe as a double dose of the listed ingredients but found it was not mixing well in the TM 5 bowl. So, I suggest doing and mixing one dose and if you want to make a double dose then make a second batch straight after and then continue from Step 5 with kneading the two batches/does together into one ball.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
