  • 70 grams raw sugar
  • 150 grams dairy-free margarine
  • 1 level teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 150 grams soy-free, gluten-free plain flour, all purpose
  • 75 grams soy-free, gluten-free self-raising flour

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Line a large baking tray with baking paper and pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees.

     

    Place the sugar into the mixing bowl and mill 5 sec/speed 9

     

    Add the butter and mix 40sec/speed 4

     

    Add all other ingredients and mix 40sec/speed 4

     

    Open the lid and scrape down the sides

     

    Mix again 40sec/speed4 Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"

     

    Shape tablespoonsful of the mixture into balls and place into the prepared baking tray. Use a fork or the palm of your hand to flatten to about 1.5cm thick.

     

    Bake for around 12-15 mins. Transfer to wire rack to cool.

    Simple and easy recipe, thank you! I also used coconut sugar and added some cacao into the mix to make it chocolate flavour.

    I added choc chips to ours and used coconut sugar instead of raw sugar.  A big hit!  Thanks for sharing.

    Turned out better than the non Thermie recipe and of course a lot quicker and easier.  I doubled the quantities and I weigh out each biscuit at 20gm.  tmrc_emoticons.)
