Recipe's preparation

    To grind beans
  1. Place 200g of coffee beans into mixing bowl.
  2. Insert mixing cup into lid
  3. Grind 20 seconds speed 10
  4. Scrape down sides. The coffee grounds may smell 'hot' so allow to cool (approx 30 seconds). This will give you a better ground consistency and avoids burning the beans. Although heat is not used, the beans will get hot with the grinding action anyway.
  5. Grind 20 seconds speed 10. Repeat as necessary, scraping down sides and allowing to cool between each grinding.

Tip

I use a stovetop espresso maker and this method grinds it fine enough for my machine. It's important to do the grinding in short bursts (20 seconds) to get a fine consistency. Also allowing the beans to cool at each stage so you don't burn the beans and end up with bitter coffee.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Made this this morning to use in my coffee machine. First time ever using a coffee machine at home. Worked amazingly!
