    8. Fry in batches until golden and puffed up, turning once. Takes only a couple minutes each side.

    9. Place onto paper towel to soak up excess oil

    10. Enjoy hot or cold with butter and maybe jam too!

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I've used this a few times now. My Koro who walked on Australian soil for the first time at 84 years of age said it was as good as my Nanny's, so that's saying something! Very fluffy and tasted just like they should tmrc_emoticons.)

I have eaten plenty of fry bread over the years, but this was the first time I have ever made it myself... too easy. I love that it wasn't dense, but instead light and fluffy...I guess that's due to it being freshly made. The family loved it, thank you. ( I used the water edit in the comments)

You are correct, very sorry about that! I am looking for a way to edit the recipe!

I believe the first step should say Add 280g water not flour? Sounds good though I'm keen to try this one.
