- 2 eggs separated
- 50 g almonds
- 200 g soft full grain bread
- 250 g Milk
- 100 g Butter
- 1000 g Cherries
- sultanas(optional)
- to taste honey(optional)
- bredcrumbs

Put the almonds in the TM bowl, use the Turbo button until the almonds milled but still in a course condition, set aside. Clean the bowl.
Add butterfly and beat the eggwhite until stiff on speed 4, set aside. Remove butterfly
Put the milk into the bowl and heat it up for 5 min on 90 degrees on speed 1-2.
Then add the bread slices cut in quaters, add the butter, almonds, the 2 egg yolks, the honey and sultanas, if wanted. Mix all together on speed 3.
Add the cherries and the egg white and mix again carefully on revers.
Fill this in a greased and with bread crumbs outlined(ovenproof ) dish.Spread some more brea crumbs on the top add some butterflakes on top and bake it for 30 min. on 180 degrees.
Kirschmichel(cherry bake)
Tip
The Kirschmichel can be served warm or cooled down, with vanilla sauce or a white wine foam sauce, or just with coffe or tea
