  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 60 g sesame seeds
  • 60 g Pepita Seeds
  • 60 g sunflower seeds
  • 100 g Shredded coconut
  • 20 g white chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 125 g Butter
  • 150 g rice malt syrup or honey

Recipe's preparation

  1. Steps

    * Melt Rice Malt Syrup & Butter 2 mins / 55 degrees / speed 2 reverse

    * Add dry ingredients cook 2 mins / 55 degrees / speed 1 reverse

    * Spoon into snack moulds and cool in fridge (or baking tray and cut into slices)

    * Put some hot tap water in BBL & mix for a minute to remove most of the sticky mix to make it easier to wash out
  2. Variations

    ^ Measure out dry ingredients (except cinnamon) & dry roast in a frypan to enhance flavour of seeds

    ^ Dairy Free - replace butter with Nuttalex

    ^ Drizzle with melted chocolate for extra treat

    ^ We like to eat them straight from the freezer, they keep better in the kids lunchbox if they go in frozen as well

    ^ Not an original recipe, has been passed on by a friend unsure of where original recipe has come from I've just adapted to Thermomix, I hope you enjoy it this is my first recipe I've published. Recipe credit to my friend Rosie A x

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
