I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- 1 : Preheat oven to 160. Grease and line slice tray
2 : Place brown sugar, baking powder, cocoa and flour into BBL and mix 5 sec/speed 10 - transfer to bowl and set aside
3 : Place 230g nuttalex and salt into mixing bowl and melt 2-3 mins/60/speed 2 until butter is completely melted
4 : Add reserved cocoa mixture, eggs and vanilla and mix 20 sec / reverse / speed 4
5 : Pour into prepared tray and bake 40-60 mins until just set (depending on tray size and depth - you want to cook it slow don't be tempted to bump the oven up) - This recipe is a variation of the Decadent Chocolate Brownie on Cookidoo with reduced sugar, gluten free and dairy free options
This has become my 'go to' chocolate cake recipe as it is deliciously moist and rich like a brownie but not as naughty
>> Grate and add Sweet William Chocolate in at step 4 for a richer brownie. Sweet William is a dairy free chocolate found in the health food isle
>> Sub GF options for normal if you require

Tip
a slice tin will cook quicker than a square tin and you will get more serves out of your brownie

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
