Frosting
- 1/2 Cup of butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 75 g Milk
- 3 Cups of icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Melt butter and brown sugar in TM bowl, 2 minutes, 80 degrees, speed 2
Add milk, 3 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 3 - 4
Allow to cool until lukewarm
On speed 5, add the vanilla and then the icing sugar until a thick consistancy. This is just so when you pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes the shape holds.
Tip
I use this frosting for cupcakes, and I pipe it on using a size 13 star nozzle. This will be enough frosting for 12 cupcakes.

The kids loved this but next time I would grind the brown sugar to a powder first as it was grainy
Not sure what I did wrong. My conversion to grams was 115g butter, 210g brown sugar & about 330g icing sugar. I've ended up with caramel sauce-which is not a bad thing!! Ive probably added up to 500g icing sugar but it's still dripping-certainly not pipeable!! Maybe I didn't let the butter cool down enough or I started with too much butter???
I added a bit of salted caramel essence to mine......AMAZING
