I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 180degC (170 fan forced) and line a large brownie pan (22.5cm x 32.5cm) with baking paper
- 2. Place butter in the "Closed lid" and melt for 4 mins at 60degC on speed 2 (or until melted)
- 3. Add brown sugar, vanilla and TWO of the eggs, and mix for 20 seconds on speed 3
- 4. Add flour, baking powder and salt, and mix for 10 seconds on speed 3
- 5. Scrape down sides with a spatula and mix again for 10 seconds on speed 3
- 6. Transfer 2/3 of the mixture to the lined pan and the remaining 1/3 into a small bowl. Use a spatula to remove as much mix as you can but don't clean the "Closed lid"
- 8. Add the third egg and beat together with the cheese mixture for 5 seconds on speed 3
- 9. Scrape down the sides with a spatula and beat again for 5 seconds on speed 3
- 10. Spread the cheese mixture over the batter in the pan.
- 12. Bake for 32-36 minutes or until batter is golden brown and springs back to a light touch
Tip
Philadelphia Caramilk cream cheese is a promotional item and can be found in the dairy/fridge section of major supermarkets. If it is unavailable, regular cream cheese could be used instead to make regular blondies.

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
