Ingredients

  • 375 grams SR flour
  • 230 grams white sugar
  • 200 grams brown sugar
  • 200 grams unsalted butter
  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 5 grams baking soda
  • 3 grams salt
  • 200 grams Quick Oats
  • 150 grams milk chocolate chips
  • 1 level teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe's preparation

    Directions
  1. Preheat Oven to Moderate

     

    Add Butter, Brown Sugar & White Sugar to Thermomix Bowl 30 sec/speed 5

     

    Add Eggs and Vanilla extract 10 sec/speed 5

     

    Add SR Flour, Cocoa Powder, Baking Soda and Salt 20 sec/ speed 6

     

    Pour Mixture out into another bowl and add Oats and Chocolate Chips

    Roughly mix together until evenly combined

     

    Roll out into balls and place onto baking tray about 15 cms apart, use flat object to squash down a little

     

    Bake in preheated oven for approximately 12 minutes ( less time for a more gooey biscuit)

     

    Cool on baking tray before moving onto a wire rack to cool completely.

    Makes a large batch of around 25-30 biscuits.

    Biscuit Dough can be frozen.

    No eggs were in the ingredients and so when I came to that part I only had one egg so was not impressed. had to add milk instead. These biscuits spread too much and were too sweet for my taste. Also, ingredients added in 3 gram lots should be measured in half teaspoons or likewise if they are for a thermomix. 3 grams of salt would be Better measured as half a teaspoon. Would not do this recipe again. There are better Recipes.

    I added 2 eggs and a splash of milk too. Tastes delicious, made about ***60*** biscuits!!! 

    also, it says to space them 15cm apart??? im assimg typo, I spaced them about 3cm apart.

    This doesnt say how many eggs are required and there is no liquid added. I just added 2 eggs and milk to make it stick together.
