- 1 3/4 plain flour, cup
- 60 g blanched almonds
- 1 castor sugar, cup
- 185 g Butter
- 1/4 level teaspoon salt
- 125 g Buderim uncrystalized ginger pieces

Chop ginger 10sec/ sp4-put aside
then add the butter to the mixing bowl chopped into small pieces,melt on 100c/- sp 4/- 1min (til melted)
then Add flour,castor sugar,salt,and ginger.
mix sp4-/15 sec. Then knead "Gentle stir setting" 1min
press into greased 20cm round dish.
Arrange almonds on top.
Bake at 180o for 30-40 min until cake is golden and firm..
You can make your own blanched almonds by putting them in boiling water and waiting for about 10 mins til the skins soften and peelin the skins.
