Hi, I modified this recipe from Easy Irish Pear Cake posted by AMellow and indeed 480g SR flour in that recipe. I haven't written anything in my notes that it was too much, but it's been a while since I made it.
DonnaMC: i agree, 480 too much. Around 280gm sounds more appropriate for a bread
Is 480g of flour a typo? It seemed like a lot of flour so I added an extra 65ml of milk to the mixture
when cooked, it just tasted like flour rather than a fruit bread so I’m thinking maybe the ratios need some tweaking?
