Ingredients
- 75 g medjool dates, (About 5 dates)
- 230 g ripe bananas
- 250 g Milk
- 2 eggs
- 300 g S R Flour
- pinch salt
- 1 level teaspoon bicarb soda
- 1 level teaspoon ground nutmeg

- Place dates (seeds removed!) in TM bowl. 5 speed 9. Scrape the bowl, it will be by sticky.
- Add banana and mash at speed 8, 5 seconds
- Add eggs and milk, 5 seconds, speed 8
- Add flour, bicarb, salt and nutmeg, mix 10 seconds, speed 4
- Pour batter into greased and lined loaf tin (mine is 10cm X 20cm and 7 cm high)
- Bake at 180 degrees C for 40-50 mins or until cooked.
- suitable to freeze
** I often use spelt flour with 2 tsp baking powder added
** You can use cinnamon or mixed spice in place of the nutmeg
** Sometimes I use 1 large banana and make it up to 230g with some leftover apple sauce (made from the apple sauce recipe in the everyday cookbook)
