Ingredients
Brownies
- 225 g dark chocolate 70%
- 225 g Butter
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200 g castor sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 150 g ground almonds
- 100 g Chopped walnuts
Chocolate sauce
- 75 g dark chocolate 70%
- 125 g double cream
- 2 teaspoon instant expresso powder
- 2 tablespoon water

1. Preheat oven to 170 deg. Melt the chocolate & butter 5 min/60 deg/sp 2.
Make sure all has melted before next step.
2. Take off the heat, mix in the vanilla & sugar, & let it cool.
3. Beat the eggs into the bowl with the ground almonds & chopped walnuts.
Turn into a 24cm square baking tin linned with baking paper.
4. Bake in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes, by which time the top will have set but the mixture will still be gooey.
1. Break up the chocolate & put into bowl
2. Dissolve the instant espresso powder in the water & add this, along with the remaining ingredients into the bowl 5 min/ 60 deg/ sp2
3. Once everything has melted pour into a jug to serve

Tip
I would hand chop walnuts if you like to have a crunch in your brownie
