Delicious!!! Cooked it for an extra 20mins but could’ve gone another 10 or buy nicer meat, my meat was a bit tough. The sauce leftover was soooo good, have frozen it to use for gravy with a roast beef. Nice and easy recipe to follow.

Wow!! This was so super tasty. I did cook for 30mins more and it made it’s so tender and tasty. My fuss pot kids loved it and it has been gobbled up with no leftovers. Thanks for sharing this tasty recipe

I cooked this tonight and have added it to my favorites. It was very flavorsome and a lovely winter nights dinner. I also cooked it for 30 minutes longer and the meat was lovely and tender. Also added a few extra veges - celery and carrot. Very hearty.

Hi, MC is your measuring cup that sits on top of the Termie lid.  Take the MC off and place your steaming basket on top of the lid instead.  Nothing goes into the basket, it is used in this recepie as a tool to allow air into the bowl and steam out so the sauce can thicken but minimise splashes. (I just made up the minimise splashes bit so not offended if someone can add a more technical reason lol).

Hi, I am really new to the Thermomix and still trying to get my head around the 'Thermy speak'!

What does "MC off and replace with steaming basket" mean?  What goes into the steaming basket?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I would love to make your recipe.

    Thank you.
