1. Turn oven on to 160ºC (fan forced). Prepare 20cm bundt pan, or round pan.
2. Juice the orange and set juice aside.
3. Quarter the orange and remove seeds, then place in TM with cubed butter. Chop 10 seconds on speed 8.
4. Add remaining ingredients and mix for 20 seconds on speed 4 "Counter-clockwise operation" .
5. Scrape down bowl and repeat for 15-20 seconds on speed 4 "Counter-clockwise operation" .
6. Pour into prepared tin and bake 45 minutes, until golden brown and skewer comes out clean. Remove from oven.
Syrup:
1. When the cake comes out of the oven, place orange juice, sugar and butter into microwave and bring to the boil.
2. Pour half over the cake, so cake will absorb the syrup.
3. When ready to serve, fill the cavity of the cake with mixed berries (or fruit of choice) and pour reheated remaining syrup over.
4. Serve with cream, icecream or Huldah’s Vanilla Yoghurt.

Comments
After reading all the comments, I made sure I put the juice of the orange in at the first step as well as the whole orange.
The batter was very thick and didnt pour out of the bowl like you would normally see from a cake batter.
Cake was very bready in taste and the only reason why it was edible was from the syrup.
But of a disaster to be honest, won't be making it again.
Delicious.
Used a whole orange for the cake and then juiced more for the syrup. Also added 2tbs of natural yogurt.
Absolutely delicious & easy, will make again
You actually need a whole orange for the cake and an extra 180mls for the syrup. You can't cut an orange in quarters and remove pips after its been juiced plus the cake needs the juice or the mix will be too dry for a cake mix.
Thank you - very easy to make. I served with dollop cream and it was really good.
Tried this today for an afternoon tea, very easy to make and a real hit!
