- 60 g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 180 g plain flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 110 g chocolate chips

Pre-heat the oven at 160 degrees
Cream butter and both sugars for 30 seconds on speed 5
Whisk in vanilla essence and the egg for 5 seconds on speed 5
Stir in the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder for 20 seconds on speed 4
Fold in the choc chips, 10 seconds "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting"
Place spoonfuls on a greased baking tray (or baking paper)
Bake 10 to 15 minutes
Cool on a wire rack
