  • 2 tablespoon Rapadura Sugar, (or just caster sugar) Plus extra to serve
  • pinch salt
  • 50g Butter
  • 65g muesli, Toasted fruit muesli (plus extra to serve)
  • 240g Milk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (fan forced), and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Add flour, sugar, salt and butter into TM bowl and mix 5sec/sp8 or until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

  3. Add the muesli and mix for 3sec/reverse/sp3.

  4. Add milk and mix for 10-15sec/reverse/sp5. Once combined, Closed lid"Closed lid" Dough mode"Dough mode" for 15 sec.

  5. Turn out onto prepared tray and form into a ball. Press dough out flat to a 20cm diameter disc.Sprinkle with extra sugar (optional) and muesli.Mark 8 wedges on top of dough, with a sharp floured knife.

  6. Bake for 20-25 mins or until golden and hollow sounding when tapped lightly.Remove from oven, and let stand for 5mins before cutting.

Tip

Scone dough should be soft and sticky, just holding its shape together.Try not to overmix the scone dough in order to keep it light.Toasted muesli is best, but untoasted muesli works just as well.
