Recipe's preparation

    Raw Brownie balls/slice
  1. Place Nuts into TM bowl and pulse 5-6 timesClosed lid"Closed lid" (I like chunky nuts)

Add raw cacao blend for 3sec speed 4-5

Add dates blend for 10sec speed 5. Dates need to be well broken down

Add all other ingredients blend till well combined, 4-5 sec  speed 4-5, scrap down sides and blend again.

Roll into balls or place into slice tin and cut into portions once refrigerated.

Variations to this recipe are shredded coconut, goji berries, sunflower seeds, dried fruit.

Whatever variations you have in the house, if it saves you making a trip to the shop.

Tip

This is NOT a traditional Brownie but more of a modern protein ball/slice. I'm a nut freak and not so much a sweet tooth, so the dates 140g are enough for me.  If you prefer it sweeter then add the optional extra 70g dates and use your judgement by adding extra coconut oil for texture and consistency. Great  after  a workout or to  keep your hunger at bay till the next meal time. Packed full of protein and the only sugar is in the dates. Hope you ENJOY.

Absolutley delicious! I made it as a slice and used peanut butter that I made in the thermo. Also used cacao powder and a mix of dates, figs, macadamias, almonds and cashews. I did bump it up to 200g for the fruit as my peanuts were a little over roasted and had quite a dominant flavour. Very versatile recipe base and saved in my favourites.

Great! I made them with 20g coco powder instead and it worked well. Thank you
