Ingredients

Dry Mix

  • 250 grams plain flour
  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Mix

  • 120 grams Butter
  • 150 grams brown sugar
  • 50 grams raw sugar
  • 15 grams Milk
  • 10 grams Vanilla Essence/Extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 tablespoon Red food colouring
  • 180 grams White Chocolate Chips

Recipe's preparation

    Dry Mixture
  1. Add Flour, Cocoa, Baking Soda and salt into Closed lid"Closed lid" 5 seconds speed 6 to combine.  Set aside.

  2. Wet Mixture
  3. Add Butter into Closed lid"Closed lid" 5 seconds speed 9 to whip.

    Add Brown Sugar & Raw Sugar 10 seconds speed 5 to combine.

    Scrape down sides of bowl.

    Add Milk, Vanilla and Egg 3 seconds speed 5.

    Add Food Colouring 3 seconds speed 5.

    Scrape down sides of bowl.

    Add Dry Mixture 30 seconds speed 2.

  4. Chill for 1 hour.

  5. Use 1.5 Tablespoons mixture roll into balls, 9 per oven tray.

    Bake on 180 Deg C for 10Min.

    Optional - Use extra Chocolate Chips after baking.

Tip

Could use liquid, gel or 2 tsp beet powder as colour alternatives

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
