Ingredients

  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 150 gCadbury chocolate
  • 100 g macadamia nuts
  • 110 g Butter
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • 75 gcastor sugar
  • 125 g plain flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ tspbicarbonate soda
  • 1 egg
  • 170 g choc chips

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

    Measure oats and blend for 10 sec on speed 8. Set aside.

    Break Cadbury chocolate into TM bowl and grate for 5 sec on speed 8. Set aside in bowl with oatmeal.

    Chop nuts for 3 sec on speed 5. Set aside in bowl with oatmeal and chocolate.

    Melt butter for 2 min at 60 degrees on speed 1.

    Add both sugars and mix for 30 sec on speed 4.

    Add egg, vanilla essence, flour, baking powder and bicarbonate soda.

    Mix for 30 sec on speed 4.

    Add oatmeal, nuts, grated chocolate and choc chips.

    Mix for 30 sec on reverse, speed 4.

    Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie tray lined with baking paper.

    Bake for 10 minutes.

    Allow to cool slightly before lifting with spatula onto cooling rack.

    Delicious, I left out the grated chocolate feeling a little choc overdoes after Easter  tmrc_emoticons.) Thanks for sharing  tmrc_emoticons.) a huge hit in our house and will be making these again.
