  • 200 gram caster sugar
  • 300 grams Gluten free self raising flour, I use White Wings Gluten Free
  • 30 grams poppy seeds
  • 3 eggs

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line loaf cake tin.

    2.  Place orange and rice bran oil into mixing bowl and mix 7 sec/speed 8.

    3.  Add remaining ingredients and combine 20 sec/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 4.

    4.  Pour into a loaf tin and bake for 50-60 minutes.

Tip

Can be made with half the quantity of sugar.

    This was very nice, I didnt have self raising flour so just added 2tsp baking pdr and 1/2tsp baking soda. Cooked in muffin tins for abour 20 minutes and iced with orange cream cheese icing. Also cut the sugar back to 160grms

    I made this for my kid's birthday party and it was a hit! I made a DF swiss meringe buttercream frosting with a little lemon juice to decorate. Will definitely make again. It rose perfectly, was nice and moist and loved by parents and children.

    I made this today. Very good but I think next time I'll put in 2 oranges and reduce the oil to half the amount as you could taste the oil,although I did use grape seed oil. Not sure if this made a differnce.  I also reduced the sugar to 100g.

    Fantastic! My New Go To Cake  Love

    I Reduced Sugar And Sunflower Oil To 100g. Cut Off Skin Of Orange (Removing And Discarding The White) And Followed The Recipe And It Was Nothing But Perfect! Kids And Hubby Loved It! Thank You So Much For Sharing.  Cooking 7
