  • 3 eggs
  • 200 grams raw sugar
  • 100 grams unsalted butter
  • 275 grams self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 grams Greek yoghurt
  • 1 level tsp baking powder

Glaze

  • 1 orange, Whole, juice of
  • 100 grams raw sugar

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Prepare tin with baking paper. Preheat oven 170 degrees..
    Take the pips out of your orange and blitz skin and all #7 for 5s.
    Remove from bowl. No need to wash 😊
    Place sugar and eggs in the bowl and add whisker and beat till smooth and creamy #3 (at least a minute or 2)
    Remove from bowl and put aside. No need to wash.
    Add butter to bowl and soften #5 till soft.
    Add flour and baking powder. Mix till combined 20s #3
    Add vanilla, blitzed oranges and egg sugar mix and yoghurt. Combine 7s #4.
    Pour into tin and bake for 40 mins. Check if it may need an extra 5 mins or so.

  3. Combine sugar and the juice of a whole orange in a small pan on low heat until syrup consistency.

    Pierce a few holes around cake and spoon syrup on top. Let it cool slightly before cutting, if you can!
