Ingredients

oat slice

  • 130 g rolled oats
  • 65 g plain flour
  • 260 g Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 banana
  • 1 ripe pear, peeled and quartered
  • 1 apple, peeled and quartered
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 30 g dried cranberries or sultanas

Recipe's preparation

  1. add the oats and flour to TM and mill speed 8/3 secs set aside and rinse bowl

    add fresh fruit and chop speed 8/5 secs

    add the oats and flour back to the mix and add remaining ingredients combine using Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  speed 1 until ingredients are brought together

    transfer into lined baking tray and place in fan forced oven set to 180

    remove when slice has a golden colour

    I enjoyed this with a cup of tea, but I don't think it will be a winner with my husband or toddler.  I used sultanas, didn't have pear so used 2 apples and sprinkled cinnamon across the top.  It took 25 minutes to bake.

    I am all for a healthy recipe but this was completely bland, tasted like cardboard, went straight in the bin!

    Delicious! Thank you for posting. I added a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, added some LSA with the oats and used currants iinstead of cranberries/sultanas. My 8 month old adores this too.
