Recipe's preparation

I use this recipe to prepare all our chilli s growing in the garden, I have made this recipe with as low as 20gm to as high as 125gms of fresh chilli. We grow 4 different varieties, some green, red and yellow. It’s all good. I then add a teaspoon of this paste to what ever I think needs it, such as mayonnaise or in sauces, or just when ever chilli is called for in a recipe.
  1. pick chilli
    wash chilli
    weigh chilli in tm.
then chop 10 seconds speed 5 (mc on). Repeat if required.

    scrape down sides of tm

weigh in oil (same weight as chilli)

cook 20 mins 100 deg speed 1 mc off

wait till cools before transfer to sterile jar.

once cooled to room temp store in fridge.

make sure chillis are covered in oil when stored.

Tip

Oil will solidify in fridge, don’t worry, it’s cool

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
